During the time he was at North American College he finished the civil engineering courses and was involved in many projects across GTA and Ontario.

Most of that projects were supervised by a professional engineer and monitored by Canadian Engineering Group Staff.

James involved in the following projects:

  1. Underground parking Garage- concrete repairs -1950 Kennedy Road, Scarborough. ON

The work is Building Science Project – Evaluation of the existing condition of and underground parking garage. Visually checked the soundness and the durability of the conditions of columns and shear walls.

Also James involved in the new development of the outside parking. He met planners and mangers at the city of Toronto to expand the number of parking lots

  1. Full Environmental Site Assessment – Phase –I  and Phase-II with at 316 Waterloo Ave., Guelph, ON to support the record of site condition (RSC). Report to MOE. Drilling, tagging samples. Laboratory

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Environmental Site assessment with a report to the city of Toronto and  CIBC  Bank for the property located at 610 Danforth road. The work included drilling and sampling for any   industrial – contamination

     

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

James was trained to:

  • Dealing with the city officials, planners and building permit departments

  • Organizing and sorting the engineering findings

  • Help in the environmental assessments prepared for the Ministry of Environment and other authorities.

  • Collect the data and the information on site

  • Supervise the basic soil investigations.

  • Involve in the estimation of the new buildings

  • Evaluation of the test results and records

NAC staff  helped James Hunt in building his resume and in his interviews.

The last interview was with HOME DEPOT on September 22, 2015 and October 1st, 2015.    Also he have some new job related contacts.
